Sheldon ISD names new principals and administrators; honors programs and staff

The district also recognized program accomplishments: Sheldon Early Learning Center received a four‑star Texas Rising Star rating, indicating the program exceeds state child‑care licensing standards; the district was named in the top 8 percent statewide by the Texas Art Education Association for fine arts programming; nine school‑based constables completed a 128‑hour school‑based law enforcement master training accredited by the Texas Commission on Law Enforcement and conducted by the Texas State School Safety Center; and Franklins Early Childhood Academy was named the district’s 2024–25 Parent Engagement Innovative Campus of the Year. Superintendent Dr. McCall was recognized with the National School Public Relations Association’s Superintendents to Watch award.
