Commission backs rezoning of Huffcutt Lane subdivision lots to single‑family district

The Waupaca Planning Commission on Sept. 3 recommended City Council approve rezoning parcels within the subdivision at Huffcutt Lane and Huffcutt Court from R-3 Multifamily Residential to R-1 Single‑Family Residential, as required by the subdivision plat.

Planning staff said the plat requires the zoning change so that individual lots meet district standards, including minimum lot width. Six building permits for single‑family homes have already been applied for and approved in the subdivision.

Commissioners voted to recommend ordinance 10‑20‑25 to City Council. No public testimony was recorded in opposition or favor during the hearing.
