Supervisors authorize transfer of reimbursable MHDS payroll funds to regional MHDS account

The Pottawatomie County Board authorized the chair to sign Resolution 15-25 to transfer reimbursable Mental Health and Disability Services (MHDS) payroll funds back to the MHDS regional fund as part of the process to close out the region.
County staff explained Becky Linehan, the county contact who is ill and not present, had sent an explanatory message. The transfer concerns Suzanne Watson’s transferable reimbursable payroll balance at year-end; staff said they planned to leave enough to cover payroll and might make a subsequent adjustment. The board described the funds as state pass-through money and said invoices and incoming disbursements will be used to wrap up the region through December.
A supervisor asked why the transfer included cents (91¢) instead of rounding; staff said the number reflected the accounting close-out effort. The board approved the transfer by roll call.
No vote tally beyond roll call “Aye” responses was read into the transcript. Staff indicated additional adjustments could follow as final invoices and reimbursements are reconciled.
