At the September meeting the Baptist County Wetlands Board heard a staff report about a complaint alleging a truck had been parking in and disturbing wetlands vegetation at the corner of Root Ruby Road and Whites Creek Road.
Staff said the complaint arrived via the online form on August 10 and included photos showing flattened vegetation; staff requested additional photos and received none from the original complainant. Staff subsequently asked Dan Mark Vandesma to inspect the site and provided photos to the board. No enforcement action was described in the meeting minutes; the complainant had not replied to staff follow-up at the time of the meeting.
Board members did not record a formal enforcement motion at the meeting; staff will continue follow-up with the complainant and document any further violations or remediation steps.
