The Clinton County Board of Commissioners on Sept. 2 adopted an allowable-cost policy intended to guide administration of federal grant funds after a State Board of Accounts (SBOA) audit recommendation. The auditor was not present, but commissioners said the policy is standard and straightforward and moved to adopt it; the motion carried 3-0. Commissioner K. described the policy as addressing grant funding and federal funds’ internal administration. No amendments or conditions to the policy were recorded during the meeting. The board adopted the policy by unanimous vote and placed it on the record for audit compliance.
