Council members noted interest in aligning capital projects, district priorities and departmental master plans; some members suggested a recurring annual retreat at the start of each year. Staff asked departments to prepare vision and goal summaries to inform retreat discussions. The city manager and staff supported a facilitated session and asked Norma (staff) to begin calendaring possible Saturday dates.
