Board of Health business was not conducted because the required number of members was not present. Meeting staff said they would wait about five minutes for additional members to arrive but ultimately did not convene the meeting.
“This is potentially a meeting of the board of health. However, at this point, we do not have a quorum, and we may have to postpone the meeting. We're gonna wait for another 5 minutes,” the staff member said. The staff member also noted, “Carrie McKenna is on online on Zoom, and that does not count as a quorum. So I'm not even gonna call the meeting to order.”
The staff member said the meeting had been called for 4:00 p.m. and that it was about 4:05 when they decided not to proceed. A person identified as Meredith arrived shortly afterward, but the meeting record indicates that the presence did not result in calling the meeting to order. The staff member concluded the on-site gathering with, “Yeah. No meeting.”
No motions were made and no formal business was conducted. The meeting record provided no information about a new meeting date or rescheduling.
