Council members asked whether ARCOMA had been made aware of the land bank’s interest; staff replied that DCC had not yet involved ARCOMA at a recent conference and that participants wanted to have their plans finalized before wider notification. Staff said they expect pushback and that the resolution is intended to support the land bank’s next steps rather than to settle legal obligations.
The item will return for a formal council vote on the resolution. Staff did not indicate any immediate financial commitment by the city in the draft presented to council.
