The Board of Aldermen unanimously approved two collective bargaining agreements after executive session on Sept. 8.
The board voted to approve a contract between the City of Milford and Milford Police Union LLC covering July 1, 2025, through June 30, 2029. The board also approved a settlement with the Milford City Hall Employees Association, AFSCME Council 4, Local 1303-452, covering July 1, 2024, through June 30, 2027.
Both motions were made and seconded and passed on voice vote after the board returned from executive session. No contract details were read into the public record during the meeting; directors and union representatives were invited into the executive session as provided in the agenda.
Aldermen who later spoke said they supported the contracts and urged reflection on other board matters earlier in the meeting. The motions passed unanimously.
