Riverview resident honors Bill McCartney, asks council about gas and dispensary revenues

Moss said McCartney saved the city nearly $2 million in landfill collections and exposed fraud related to police officers and workers’ compensation, according to what Moss said he learned from Mr. Toll. Moss described McCartney as “a very passionate man” and said he intended to carry some of McCartney’s questions to the council.
There was a brief, audible exchange when a member of the dais responded “Absolutely false, mister Moss.” Moss told the chair he would not stay for an answer and concluded his remarks.
The council did not provide an answer on the record during the public-comment period and no formal action or staff report addressing the specific revenue questions was recorded in the meeting minutes included in the transcript.
