DDA approves routine business, recommends two Match on Main projects and names fund advisers

The board unanimously approved a consent agenda that included minutes from the Jan. 22 regular meeting and committee minutes from February. The board then approved January bills and accounts, $4,240.88.
The DDA also voted to transmit two Match on Main applications to the MEDC: an application from Glow Studio requesting $20,329 to expand studio equipment, class offerings and marketing; and an application from the Children’s Museum of Branch County seeking $25,000 toward an enhanced climbing exhibit. Audrey (DDA director) and staff described both projects during the meeting; the board’s motion to recommend both projects to MEDC carried without recorded opposition.
Finally, the board approved Resolution DDA 25-01, which names Michael Caywood (president), Courtney Dershow (vice president) and Audrey (DDA director) as fund advisers for the Coldwater Main Street Fund held at the Branch County Community Foundation; the resolution specifies that transfers from the fund require two signatures from the designated advisers.
