Frasier schedules extra vendor market, two movie nights and an Oct. 2 Halloween parade; carnival to return to July dates

Frasier staff announced an extra vendor market set for Saturday, Sept. 27, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., and two family movie nights in early September, and said the city has approval from Macomb County Department of Roads for a Halloween-themed parade on Oct. 2 at 2 p.m. The vendor market is scheduled with 14 vendors and one food truck; staff said the city may make vendor markets a May–September regular series next year. A staff member said the food truck for the September vendor market will be Detroit’s Sibling Rivalry and that organizers are considering adding low‑cost entertainment near the site despite electrical limitations. Movie nights are set for Sept. 6 (Finding Nemo) and Sept. 13 (The Incredibles), with complimentary cotton candy, free face painting and popcorn; showtimes will be roughly at sunset (about 8:15–8:30 p.m.).
