Warnock said IVC serves nearly 500 clients across its services and requested CDBG support to expand service capacity in Fraser.
Councilmember Shornack moved the staff recommendation to allocate the available $7,750 to three organizations: Carehaus, Turning Point and Interfaith Volunteer Caregivers, with per-organization amounts proposed in the motion to reach the full county allotment. The motion was seconded and adopted without recorded opposition.
Ending: City staff will notify the successful applicants and prepare grant paperwork; recipients will use the funds for the purposes presented in the public hearing.
