Commissioner Cook moved to change the May 6 meeting to May 13, the August 5 meeting to August 12 and the November 4 meeting to November 12; Commissioner Hunter seconded. The motion passed unanimously.
Commissioners said the date shifts were intended to ensure full participation and avoid scheduling conflicts on election days. The revised calendar will be published with the commission’s regular postings and reflected in the department’s meeting materials.
The change was taken as a single motion and recorded during the commission’s approval of the 2025 meeting schedule. The commission did not propose additional calendar changes at the Jan. 7 meeting.
