The Norwalk Fair Rent Commission voted Sept. 3 to close two long-running cases and to delay action on a third until a hearing can be rescheduled. Attorney Russell Liscov reported that case 1831‑238 Union Ave., Apt. B3 had been inactive for months, with neither the tenant’s nor the landlord’s attorneys responding to staff requests. Liscov told the commission, “Neither the attorney for the tenant nor the attorney for the landlord has gotten back to us,” and recommended closing the matter.
