Commission staff reminded the manager that the restaurant must have a common-victualler license (the municipal permit to serve prepared food) in hand before a public opening; the applicant said they had been in contact with licensing staff and expected the license to arrive by email or mail soon. Commissioners wished the applicant well and advised verifying all licensing documents are in place before selling food or alcohol to the public.
The commission did not take enforcement action and closed the item with good wishes for the planned opening.
