School committee unanimously approves three city-of-Springfield diplomas

The Springfield School Committee voted unanimously to approve requests to award city-of-Springfield diplomas to three individuals who completed the district requirements.

Superintendent Dr. Dernault announced the three individuals as read into the record: Erasto Santos, Kejali Rios and Moises Tapia Maldonado. Each nomination was presented by the superintendent and placed before the committee; motions to approve were made and the clerk called roll for each item. Committee members recorded unanimous "yes" votes on the roll-call votes for each diploma item.

The approvals were formal, individual votes recorded in the meeting minutes; the committee did not discuss changes to diploma criteria during the votes.
