A representative, Bianca, appeared for the owner, explaining the applicant wants to build a third floor that would add living space (three bedrooms and a bath were discussed). Board members noted that the request requires a variance only for the maximum number of stories; height limits and floor‑area ratio were within district standards. Staff issued no objections, and no members of the public spoke for or against the application.
Member McCarthy noted the small footprint and compatibility with height restrictions and moved to approve. The motion was seconded by Member Prokop and passed on a unanimous roll call (Chairman Peck, Vice Chair Callahan, Member McCarthy, Member Hovey and Member Prokop).
