The Village of Mundelein on Monday unveiled a new web page that centralizes public information about the proposed Ivanhoe Village development, staff told the board. Amanda Rencheck, a village staff director, presented the page and said it is live on the village website.
Village staff said the page gathers background material and project documents in one place so residents, taxing districts and board members can follow updates. Rencheck said the page includes a “last updated” date, links to presentations and videos from prior village and planning‑commission meetings, comparable projects by the development team’s land planner, concept art and maps showing how the site falls inside local taxing districts.
The page lists examples of comparable work by the land planner (DPZ CoDesign) and links to the developer’s own project site, Rencheck said. She described pages that summarize the project overview, the review process a petitioner typically follows with the village, and a section of meeting materials that links directly to agendas, presentation slides and video archives. Rencheck stressed the site is intended as a long‑running resource and that official meeting dates and agendas remain posted in the village’s Agenda & Meetings section.
Rencheck noted the village will update the concept art and site plans as new material becomes available. She also emphasized that the standalone Ivanhoe page is not a substitute for the village’s official agenda postings: “If you want the official meeting time and date, go to the village agenda and meetings section,” she said.
The site is accessible now at mungeline.org under the Community menu (the Ivanhoe page is labelled Ivanhoe Village Development Activity). Village staff encouraged residents with questions to contact staff directly.
The presentation included an offer to maintain the page throughout the life of the project so timelines and documents remain available as the proposal progresses through annexation, planning review and any subsequent entitlements or amendments.
