MUNDELEIN, Ill. — The Mundelein Village Board approved two commission appointments and swore in one appointee at the July 14 meeting.

Trustees voted to appoint David Sheitan to the Economic Development Commission. Trustees then approved the appointment of Tim Wilson to the Planning and Zoning Commission. Clerk roll calls on both motions produced affirmative votes and the motions carried. After the vote, the mayor pro tem administered the oath of office to David Sheitan.

The appointments were presented during the mayor’s report as routine commission staffing updates. Trustees and the clerk completed the formal roll-call approvals and the swearing-in on the record.
