MUNDELEIN, Ill. — The village’s Public Works and Engineering Committee reported several contract approvals during the board meeting: a sewer or system cleaning proposal from HydroKleen Solutions ($79,954); a staffing-assistance agreement with Baxter & Woodman Consulting Engineers ($16,600 per month, not to exceed $130,060); a fabrication and installation contract for the Park Street Gateway Arch with Doyle Signs, Inc. ($99,960); and a performance contract with Verigee LLC for the next phase of the villagewide LED streetlight retrofit ($99,490).
Trustee Lambert introduced the bids and proposals for acceptance and purchase orders and each motion was seconded and approved by roll call. The motions were described as waiving bids or accepting proposals when applicable and included purchase order numbers on the record for village procurement controls.
The record shows each contract passed without amendments and with authorization for the Director of Public Works and Engineering or staff to sign the necessary documents. Trustees did not place additional contingencies on the award decisions during the meeting.
