MUNDELEIN, Ill. — The Mundelein Village Board voted to adopt the village’s 2024 employee reference manual by ordinance and resolution and adopted the 2025 employee reference manual by resolution.

At the July 14 meeting trustees moved to adopt Ordinance No. O-25-07-53 (as read on the record) clarifying and adopting the 2024 employee reference manual; the clerk called the roll and recorded affirmative votes and the motion carried. The board then approved a resolution adopting the 2024 manual for the village and subsequently approved resolution R-25-07-44 adopting the 2025 employee reference manual.

Trustees took the actions as part of routine personnel and policy administration; there was no extended debate on the manuals at the meeting. The manuals set employee policies and administrative guidance for village staff; the board adopted the documents by the ordinances and resolutions read on the record.

The actions place the 2024 and 2025 employee reference manuals into the village’s codified personnel policies and are effective as adopted.
