The Design Review Board on Friday moved to hold a pending application for 418 Broadway in abeyance after representatives and a scheduled city-yard presenter did not appear to give the required update.
The item, filed as DRB05-2025 and owned by JJV 2 Development, was scheduled for an update related to an August 19 hearing; staff told the board the city yard representative was not present and no prior information had been provided to staff. Board members therefore voted to hold the item in abeyance until a representative appears or the required materials are submitted.
A board member moved to hold the application in abeyance; the motion was seconded and passed with members responding “aye.” The board took no substantive action on design elements or approvals and explicitly did not proceed because the representative was absent.
The applicant or their representative must provide the requested materials or appear at a future meeting for the board to resume review.
