Robertson County Schools honors coaches, longtime bus driver and students with perfect test scores

During its meeting the Robertson County Schools Board recognized athletic coaches, transportation staff and students with high academic achievement.
Director of Schools Dr. Weeks called forward coaches and staff who led teams to district, regional or state competitions and invited them for photographs. The board also honored Willie Mason, a school bus driver with more than 50 years of service, presenting him a retirement plaque and noting his induction into a school bus driver hall of fame. The transportation department presented the School Bus Champion Award to Hidden Heroes Sub Shop for ongoing program support.
The board recognized staff members for perfect attendance and listed names of individuals who had not missed a day during the school year. Board members and administrators also honored students who earned perfect scores on TCAP and end-of-course tests at multiple grades and subjects; the superintendent's office read the students' names aloud and invited them for photographs.
The recognitions were ceremonial and did not include board action or funding changes.
