Stevensville — The Stevensville planning and zoning board reported 146 responses to its first community growth-policy survey and announced an open house tentatively scheduled for Oct. 22, Council member Barker told the Town Council on Aug. 14.
Barker said the 146 responses were a strong showing for the board’s first public survey on the growth policy. The open house will allow residents to ask questions, see updates and complete the questionnaire if they missed the initial round. Barker said the board’s next meeting is scheduled for Sept. 10 at 5 p.m., when members plan to work on goals and objectives and may invite special guests to assist on growth-policy questions.
Barker encouraged public attendance for the Sept. 10 planning and zoning meeting and the Oct. 22 open house so residents can participate in forming the growth policy.
