The resolution recognized the district’s information‑technology and educational‑technology staff for maintaining instructional systems, providing support to teachers and students, and keeping systems secure and up to date. The resolution directed the board secretary to enter the item into the meeting minutes and provide a copy of the resolution to information and educational‑technology directors.
IT team representative Brett Dunaway spoke on behalf of the department and thanked the board, teachers and administrators saying, “We love what we do, and we will continue to do what we do.” Board members offered brief remarks of appreciation, citing the behind‑the‑scenes nature of IT work and the importance of security and uptime for instruction.
The resolution was entered in the meeting record; no additional action was required.
