Lynette Kino, the district's director of food service, presented a revised job description for a food service specialist and described operational needs the role would meet. "The greatest value this position will add is safety review of our program," Kino said, noting the role would help complete monthly safety review forms and provide building-level support so administrators can focus on daily operations.
