Village board awards $73,435 contract to replace Braeburn-Saunders water main

Trustees voted unanimously to award a contract to Clover Construction for up to $73,435 to replace a leaking section of water main and an associated valve vault at Braeburn and Saunders Road. Director of Community Services Patrick Witt (title used in transcript) told trustees the project was bid to seven contractors; two submitted bids and the low bidder was Clover Construction, which had previously repaired the final leak and therefore understood site constraints.
