The lease option presented would cost approximately $1,772.29 per month for equipment and PaperCut software, plus per‑copy charges; staff estimated the total annual cost would come in under $40,000 compared with a roughly $53,000 annual average previously.
The board approved the motion to proceed with the first option, which mixes new devices and existing machines bought within the last two years, and to implement PaperCut follow‑me printing gradually to allow staff and teachers to train on the system. Administration said GFI’s local service hub is in Mount Vernon and service response time is within 24 hours.
