Perez and other staff explained that, if no bids produced an acceptable offer, state law allows the district to pursue an open‑market sale or other options (for example, a land swap or donation) and that any specific offers would be returned to the board for decision. The board clarified it is not bound to accept any future offer that staff brings forward.

Perez said staff will proceed with open‑market outreach and return details and any offers to the board for decision. No public comments were received on the item.
