Council asks staff to publish King County lane-closure advisory for Enchanted Parkway

During the study session wrap-up on Aug. 11, Council member Whelan alerted colleagues to planned King County lane closures on Enchanted Parkway near Wild Waves related to water-system work and asked whether the city could reproduce and publish county materials to warn motorists. "They're gonna have north and southbound lanes closed for several hours in the evenings," Whelan said.
A staff member responded that the city would get something out and noted that the study session format prevented adding the item to the agenda that night. "I'll make sure we get something out," the staff member said. Council did not take formal action; staff described this as a direction to provide public notice outside of a formal agenda item.
