Staff: Summit Park transaction goes to county commission Aug. 20; Selma Park addition won’t change tariff

A staff member identified as Jim told the Clarksburg Sanitary Board that the Summit Park transaction will be before the county commission on Aug. 20 at 10 a.m. for approval and that, following county approval, the staff will file with the Public Service Commission for a final order. Jim said the addition of Selma Park will not change the water tariff and that customers outside the city of Clarksburg will be placed under the existing schedule for customers outside the city. He added, “there’s no city council action that I anticipate to finalize this project.” The board did not take formal action on the Summit Park transaction during the meeting; Jim said the Public Service Commission filing and county-commission approval are the pending procedural steps.
