The Town of Farragut approved Change Order No. 1 for the Campbell Station Inn renovation on Aug. 14, 2025. Public Works Director Will Wiley told the board the original contract for interior renovation was $683,060 and that Hickory Construction had been awarded that contract.
The change order includes multiple project change orders (PCOs): data wiring for computers/phones/cameras (PCO #1); an unforeseen slab condition in the basement (PCO #2); a necessary design revision to make a hearth in Room 102 structurally sound (PCO #3); relocation of a fire alarm panel to avoid conflict with a new restroom wall (PCO #10); and replacement of hardwood flooring found to have termite damage after sanding (PCO #13). The total change amount presented was $52,278.54 and the schedule impact was an additional 27 days, moving the projected completion date to Oct. 3, 2025. Wiley said a remaining budget balance of $14,661.46 remained after the change order.
The board discussed remaining PCO log entries and staff explained some entries in the contractor's log did not become billable change orders. The change order was approved and recorded in the meeting minutes.
