One commissioner cautioned that approving an unusually large building could make it difficult to deny similar proposals elsewhere. “If we make that exception, it's gonna be difficult to do the same for any other individual,” a commissioner said. Another commissioner observed that on a three‑acre parcel, a building of this size is less likely to appear out of place.
Staff and the applicant clarified the building would be about 22 feet high and that the owner intends the space for personal storage, including the use of a hoist. The motion to approve passed on a voice vote.
