Staff presented invoices for $356,018.00 (April'June 2025) and $358,003.13 (July'September 2025) and recommended council approve both quarterly payments in accordance with the drainage district budget. Councilman Tucson asked why two bills were received at once; staff replied Wayne County had delayed invoice timing and no interest was charged. A councilmember noted the county historically did similar timing and said the city would pay the amounts without penalty.
Council approved the payments by roll call vote.
