York thanked facility operators "Allen and Bobby" for keeping the facility running despite building challenges and asked the township to help convene a broader discussion on community recreational needs. She noted township survey responses that cited indoor recreation among top priorities and urged the board to consider whether the township should be a participant in planning or financing long‑term solutions.
Trustees acknowledged the comment and said they would consider the suggestion that Parks & Recreation and township administration engage in a larger conversation about indoor recreation capacity and options. No formal action was taken during the meeting; trustees suggested the topic as part of ongoing facilities and budget planning discussions.
