Commissioners nominated and seconded candidates during the meeting; after voice votes the motions passed unanimously. Chair and vice-chair elections are annual officer appointments used to organize the commission’s procedural leadership for the coming year.
The commission briefly approved minutes from the July 8 meeting before proceeding to elections and the evening’s agenda items.
