The Lincoln City Council voted to approve the city’s 2025 sidewalk improvement project on Aug. 18, with Alderman Downs moving the measure and Alderman Sanders seconding.
The motion carried on a roll call vote with all members present voting yes. "Move to approve," the motioner said; the second followed and the council approved the project in the meeting’s regular session.
Council members who recorded yes votes during roll call included Alderman Sanders, Alderman McCullum, Alderman Parrott, Alderman Downs, Alderman Clemons, Alderwoman O'Donoghue, Alderman Anderson and Alderman Bateman. There was no abstention and no recorded no votes. The item passed with unanimous support from council members present.
