Committee places mayoral appointments on regular agenda for council confirmation

A committee member also asked to add the mayoral appointment of Hannah Meese to the Historic Preservation Commission; the member noted the Historic Preservation Commission currently has two members out of seven and said she met with Meese and supported her appointment. Committee members placed all three appointments on the regular council agenda for formal consideration.
No council confirmations took place at the committee meeting. The committee did not record a vote on the appointments beyond placing them on the regular agenda. The mayor or staff will forward materials to council for the next meeting, where final advising-consent votes will occur.
