South Lloyd — At Monday’s meeting the council approved Ordinance 28‑61 to sell two small parcels on Miller Street that the city acquired through the land‑bank process.
City staff said the parcels were intended to clean up hazardous trees and to be sold together so a buyer could combine them into a buildable lot. The ordinance on the dais and in the supporting documents requires bids to be submitted for both parcels together; that restriction appears at subparagraph 3 of the ordinance.
Councilmembers approved the ordinance by roll call without amendments. Staff noted that parcel combination for addressing a single address will occur after the sale; the sale itself does not alter addressing or immediately trigger redevelopment.
