The City Council on Aug. 4 approved a resolution authorizing an agreement with Game Time for purchase and installation of aluminum bleachers at Harley Park. The resolution states the city solicited bids and determined Game Time represented the best bid under the city purchasing code (section 2‑20). Paul (staff member) confirmed the bid was “just a little over $30,000” and staff said the old bleachers had already been removed. A council speaker called the replacement a needed upgrade and said regular park users would welcome new seating. The resolution authorizes the city administrator and city clerk to execute the agreement; staff also noted that the exhibit attached to the packet was incorrect and would be fixed. Council recorded the roll call in favor of the resolution. Staff indicated installation timing would follow vendor availability and procurement processing.
