City project staff told the Board of Aldermen that bidding for Lift Station 94 on Forest Lane had attracted an unusually high number of plan holders — 13 at the time of the report — and that bid opening was scheduled for Sept. 17. The project manager said the high number of plan holders could yield more competitive bids. On a related sanitary project in the Meadows, the project manager said they have been in communication with the Missouri Department of Natural Resources about the gravity main. The manager reported a change to plans that will show the line as 15 inches in diameter and include as-built drawings; staff said they expect written confirmation from DNR. The manager also said planning specifications may receive an addendum in the coming week to fine-tune design details and that product suppliers had been engaged. No contract awards or construction notices were issued during the meeting; the board received the project updates as informational staff reports.
