Olivette council approves five-year vector control contract with St. Louis County

City officials said the county will continue targeted spraying only after testing indicates it is necessary and that residents who do not want their properties included may opt out. "They just need to reach out to St. Louis County to be able to do that," the city manager said during the meeting.
The proposed contract replaces the city’s expiring agreement and carries higher fees than the previous term, the city manager said.
