Finance Officer Megan Welter presented the financial reports for the month ending May 2025. She told the Board that general‑fund charges for services were about $54,000 over projection, driven mainly by pool receipts ($37,000) and trash revenue. Other general‑fund revenue exceeded projections by about $82,000, including proceeds from the sale of a tractor and TIF fees from 2023‑24, and a police equipment grant of about $24,000.
Welter reported the water and sewer fund was over projection by roughly $118,000, citing $30,000 from sale of assets and an $89,000 grant carried from 2024. She said licenses were over by $123,000 related to a school permit. On the expense side, building, grounds and maintenance and street accounts were under budget for salary‑related savings from vacancies, while water and sewer expenses were modestly higher and sewer expenses included a separation payout of about $17,000.
No motions or budget amendments were made at the meeting; the financial report was informational and staff will reconcile accounts in year‑end closing and follow normal budget procedures.
