The Greene County Board of Commissioners voted Sept. 4 to enter into a contract with HKC Roofing and Sheet Metal to replace the roof on the sludge processing building at the Sugar Creek wastewater treatment plant. The board previously awarded the bid on Aug. 14 and the Sept. 4 action completes contracting so work can begin.

County staff described the item as the expected follow-up to the bid award and said the contract will allow the county to proceed with replacement work. A commissioner moved to enter into the agreement and the motion was seconded; the board approved the contract on a voice vote.

No dollar amount for the contract was read into the record during the meeting.
