County contracts DrisTek to move and test canine-facility X-ray machine
Summary
The board approved a $4,250 agreement with Fovia Radiography doing business as DrisTek LLC to disassemble, transport, reassemble and test an X‑ray machine from the county’s current canine care facility for an upcoming facility move.
Lucas County approved an agreement Aug. 12 with Fovia Radiography, doing business as DrisTek LLC, to support relocation and testing of an X-ray machine at the county canine care facility.
Bridget Cabot presented the item and said the $4,250 agreement covers disassembly at the current facility, transportation, reassembly at the new building and testing to confirm the unit is in working order for the move.
Commissioners approved the contract by roll call with no recorded objections. County staff did not provide additional budget line items in the public presentation.
The work is intended to ensure continuity of veterinary diagnostic services during the canine facility move.
