Commissioner Cebecchi said she reviewed financial statements and projections provided by the hotel's private partner and said she was comfortable approving the $500,000 but not the additional $1,000,000 at this time.
The board voted first on the $500,000 transfer; the roll call was three in favor, none opposed, and the measure passed. The board then voted on making the $1,000,000 available as a backup; that motion passed on a 2-1 vote (Gerken and Cebecchi in favor, Lopez opposed).
