Commissioners discussed inviting shelter staff to present monthly updates to the board so the county can better track capacity and operations. One commissioner suggested that the shelter attend a future meeting to discuss ongoing animal-capacity strategies.

No formal actions or appropriations were taken during the meeting; commissioners suggested having a shelter representative present to the board at least monthly to review capacity and any requests for assistance or policy changes.
