David, who presented the item, said the Hogg Foundation grant will help cover venue expenses, food, conference travel and supplies and will allow local public-health officials and community partners to showcase projects and initiatives developed under the foundation’s mental health grant program. “This is an, additional grant through the Hogg Foundation for be well. This allows people of Victoria and the the health department to the opportunity to showcase, projects and initiatives that they've been working on,” David said.
The court approved acceptance of the $14,000 grant and authorized staff to use the funds to host the conference.
