The precinct commissioner said the tractor under consideration appeared to be a good deal and indicated willingness to pay cash from precinct funds. Committee members asked whether the purchase used a cooperative buy-board contract (Sourcewell/Bid Board) because the price exceeded $50,000; staff confirmed Sourcewell was cited on the quote. Commissioner McGowan moved to approve the purchase; Commissioner Windham seconded and the court voted aye with no opposition.
